Product Marketing Manager (Coralville, IA or remote)

Foundations in Learning, a provider of assessments and interventions for elementary and middle school age students, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead its marketing efforts. The position will be located at the company offices in Coralville, IA or remotely.

Typical work-related activities include:

• Plan, execute, and measure creative and unique marketing campaigns to support achievement of sales goals
• Support the FIL Sales team in production of sales collateral, presentations, and engaging messaging to effectively communicate our products and solutions
• Research and validate consumer needs with product features to create fluid connection to FIL’s offerings
• Assist with product demos, business cases, whitepapers, and updating online content
• Build and execute a social media strategy
• Translate product features to create an effective value proposition for clients
• Coordinate and assist with establishing FIL’s emerging products by identifying new opportunities through trade shows, speaking engagements, and outreach efforts

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent work experience

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B marketing role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proactive with engaging potential leads, creating relationships within industry, and communicating key differentiators in product offerings
• Insights-driven with experience analyzing data
• Familiarity with Zoho or other CRM software a plus
• Ability with HTML/CSS aplus
• Design experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication to achieve results and build brand support
• Previous experience managing external agencies and defining milestones, costs, and providing feedback to ensure quality production
• Extremely organized, attentive, and team-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
• Strong project management and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of and experience with the K-12 education marketplace highly preferred
